You need to deactivate the VSV - if you set the boost in 3/4/5th using the RV you'll get less boost in 1 or 2. If you set it in 1 or 2 you'll get overboost in the rest. The pipe that goes from the actuator around the transmission side of the block (the other one you didnt add the RV to!) - block it, either snip and stick a bolt in it or find a cap for the actuator port and put a bolt in the bit you pulled off. Make sure the bolt fits nice and tight - if the one on the actuator side falls off you'll see a whacking great shot of boost and probably will damaged your engine. If you leave the block-side open you'll bleed air into/out of the engine and it'll get upset.
