Time offset in profile?

Every six months I get confused

Site time is showing 09:30 now and it is really 08:30 but my offset is 0 ... so... I have put in -1. Will the site time be reset? (the auto part seems to do nothing)
or is it me?

Edited to say..........weird... post shows 08:32 so I must have got it right???
