What colour wheels????
« on: February 18, 2010, 12:43:58 pm »
Hi all

I am getting my 17's re-coloured by Mysh at WRC and can't decide what colour to go with??

They are BK racing wheels with about 12 spokes and going on a white car.

I am thinking a bronze colour (same as Volks) with maybe a white rim tape around the outside?

Other option is black/gun metal?

I like gun metal on a white car. Bronze would be ok too. Not really a fan of black on any car, unless there's other colours on the rim etc.

I think your on the right lines, bronze, gold, white, gun metal in that order.
Not a fan of black wheels at all as I think you lose all defenition of the wheels when they are black and they look ten times worse if the tyres arent slicked.
Weve just put a set of time attack rims on a car at work - black with the red piping around the rim, they would be lost if it wasnt for the red.  Our Thorney Motorsport demo has black wheels with a green rim as a bit of a different slant on the time attack option so theres something to think about?
Time to fire up photoshop I think ;)

... Or buy Forza 3 for the xbox 360, select a white ST205, and try out the genuine wheel options (and custom colours if need be).  :)
