Facebook

After reading the thread started by J-S-P regarding the social networking sites, I realised that a few members here that I know of are on Facebook, and there are probably others too. I thought maybe everyone here who has Facebook could post a link to their profile, and we could make a list of EC members on facebook.
Another idea along similar lines I had is to make a new group on facebook for the GT4 EC and have a link to the website. i think it could have potential for finding new members, as there is a Celica GT owners group on facebook with 198 members. Just an idea I had, and would be interested to see what others think.

I think a Facebook page for the club would be a good plan, and would help to raise the profile of the GT4EC.

It would also save everyone having to individually send friend requests to other club members, which might not be to everyone's liking anyway.

Awesome idea! Although I don't use Facebook personally, I can see how wide an audience there is, and a link on your profile would be a great boost to the club.

haha indeed there is! Althogh I think it should be edited slightly to include Celica GT4 in the title, maybe 'Celica GT4 EC' simply so it would be included into more search results. Also, there should be a link to the club on the page. Afterall, we want it to bring people here

The link could go in the description, not just on the wall, so that it doesn't get run off the front page.

Haha indeed. When I made that post, I posted the link as an attachment, so its listed under links at the bottom left of the screen. And I also included the website url in the description
