Dear all...

At 1AM UK time tonight I'll be taking the site into maintenance mode for about 15 minutes (with luck!) to make a major change to the forum settings, in order to get google to take a little more notice of us. If any of you are still up then, go and make a coffee and it'll probably be done by the time you get back. In the event of a major problem with the change I'll revert back to this setup and as a user you should see no difference before or after, however you MAY get some errors with logging in and out due to technicalities. If this is the case your first port of call should be to clear your cookies and cache on your browser and try again. Should that fail, which it shouldn't, it could be something I'm not aware of so drop me an email at coyoteboyuk@hotmail.com - this address will not be affected by server problems.

I dont expect any problems, but you never know!

Cheers James.
The problem I have at the moment (for the last few days) is that my new post notification comes via my Yahoo email and the 'link' to the post is in black (not blue) and is NOT underlined so there is no diect link.
I need to come in from an old post notification and use the 'unread posts since last visit'... anything you have done or is my PC playing up again????

That is, indirectly, my doing also. It's a problem with a modification I've applied and I'm in discussion with the author of the modification as we speak, hoping to fix it. If we cant work out a problem in the near future I'll remove the mod until we can, but without it the whole site is very poorly "visible" to the google search spider so I'm reluctant. Obviously user experience comes above search engine results so if I can't cure it I'll leave it off.

:) One bit is, the extra bit isn't but its in progress and I can slip that in without taking the site off-air so I'll do that as soon as it's sorted.

Glad all is well and no-one is having problems!

And now a forum that can be social bookmarked in your chosen social sites (although onlly the guest available links will work, so the chill out room etc) - check the top right of each topic page.

If anything interests you it'd be good to fire out links to places like facebook etc to get more coverage and backlinks in some cases.
