Daily driver is a turbo not good

Well,
 i can't speak for you Uk guys but here in the US fuel is over $4.50 a gallon and thats for
 crappy 93 octane.I know i know stop your bitching as US has enjoyed cheap fuel for a long time.

I retired my 93 celica gt with 400,000 on it and drove it right to scrap yard and at same yard picked up a 91 mr2 turbo (SMG color) in great cond and never wrecked which is rare for a mr2 in the US .(I have owned 12 mr2's before selling to buy my st205 wrc)
 I picked up for $1600 which is a steal for a mr2 with greddy i/c, kyb's,trd swaybars, and no rust .. need some minor tlc but motor doesn't have one drop of oil on it which is amazing ..

 now it has dawned on me that it was cheap but having 2 turbo cars may not be such a great idea .. any one else has same issue or maybe st205 is your daily ?

 I use a 205 for my daily drive unless i can get my mums fiesta and its getting pretty annoying paying £1.23 for Shell V-power on apprentice wages. Thing is I'll still pay it because i love my car but it feels good to moan about it though lol

I fortunately have a diesel company car returning around 45 mpg but diesel is more expensive, about $11.69 per gallon

We truly get shafted over here for fuel due to government taxes

I must have had a premonition a few years back when I got my 'back up' Kia Pride . OK I 'swapped' it for a CS and then realised one had to go. They were both advertised and the CS went first, so I got another Pride!
Used it for a month and saved about £60. Now my son in law has a greater ned so I am back to daily 205 use!
Any chance of sending a tanker full of fuel over the big pond? I live by the coast and we could pipe it ashore over night?
