my old snap on dealer had one in the montly specials leaflet aboput 2 years ago and to be honest i thought it was probably a worthwhile investment. that was until he told me the price  :o

if you had the balls to to persuade your bank manager to invest i think you could make some dosh, if it took off you could make the money back in 2-4 years....probs is knowing how to map confidently/safely :(  of which i don't have the first clue !

if i ever win the lottery i will buy one..lol

yeah they can be got, alot of motorsport teams use them, but as mentioned they are very expensive, i've seen a few over here being used by top motorsport teams setting up WRC cars, its alot easier than a laptop bouncing all over a dash diong it on the open road

The companies who do rental/hire are mainly ones who attend shows and as such it's larger venues for passing trade.

Cheers

They had a mobile 4wd rolling road at TOTB last year.

Didn't like the idea as the rest of the kit was slightly on the feable side I guess due to making it easier to transport.

Was fun watching the cars go on and get the sh*t rev'd out of them with very little cooling.
