This is the time to prove yourself.

Autoglym are hosting an online car club quiz and we need members who know ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING about cars and car culture to represent the GT4 Enthusiasts Club.

The details are as follows,

Autoglym is launching a nationwide UK car club internet quiz which will feature a ‘live’ final at the Honda Racing F1 HQ in Brackley, Northants on 26th January 2008.

UK Motor clubs will be able to register for their free entry in advance between 1st–30th October and the Quiz will be on-line from 1st November to 10th December 2007.

 

Registration only possible between 1st-30th October 2007.

The Autoglym Motorclubs’ Quiz will feature questions on all forms of motorsport, classic and modern cars, motoring history and current motoring conditions. 

Only one attempt per club will be possible using password access and clubs must register
before 30th October to be eligible to compete.

From the 1st November full instructions will be displayed and three trial questions can be attempted before the 20-minute timed quiz starts. Questions will be randomly selected
and a countdown clock will be shown on the screen.

After the Internet Quiz closes on 10th December, the four highest-placed clubs will be invited to the semi-finals and final, which will be a ‘live’ event hosted by respected motor industry historian and author Graham Robson, who will also set the questions. Four contestants will represent each club in this live event.

The handsome prize list includes £2000.00 and a trophy to the winning club,£ 1000 to the runner-up, £500 to each of the losing semi-finalists and plaques to all the finals day competitors.

We would propose an MSN meeting at the time of the quiz so everybody can contribute BUT...it may need to be limited to maybe 10 or 15 people to eleviate the usual frustration and confusion that can rise from an MSN meeting.
So I've sent the registration off and all we need now are for people wanting to represent the GT4EC to put their name forward to show the world how GREAT we are

I'm going to trawl the internet at some point and find some rubbish to test you all on before hand so BEWARE

that last post was directed at you chris, i'm not sure if i would be confident enough to say that andy erally only follow WRC and ITC, anything older than 1995 i wouldn't have a notion and even the yrs i did follow i'm sure my knowledge is very limited
