Just had my insurance renewal through and the price was £855 for my crate !!    (a little steep for something that does about 1000 miles a year) spoke to Footman James and they quoted me £303. Spoke to the insurers and the "managed" to bring the quote down to £300. Looked at both docs and the Footman James one includes euro breakdown cover, key care, agreed value with all mods declared. (In case anyone is bothered the base price is £113)

I hate how insurance quotes are basically a haggling game every year. Bunch of Highway robbers. That said, Admiral have done us ok the last few years for the 3 cars, and the premiums have always gone down, which has saved me the usual nonsense.

Well I have gone with Footman James and the total with European breakdown cover was £308. Rang flux and told them that I was going elsewhere and told them it took me to get a quote from another company for them to drop their price. I think they should have done that before, not keep increasing my premium.

I use needtoinsure and only pay £250 for the pair! Limited to 2000 miles a year each. Fliping Hyundai is 160!!!
