slob biffs my motor
« on: June 06, 2008, 07:17:28 am »
I was at Richer Sounds a week ago and just came out of there with my birthday prezzie, when this chap in a blue people carrier pulls into a parking space behind me and biffs my bumper - straigh infront of me and the chap from richer sounds who was helping me with my purchase.. i said OI.. to the slob in the car, he puts his hand up, puts the hand brake on - lets if off and then biffs it again... AHHHHH

Now the paintwork isnt the best on the rear bumper anyway - but he left some deep stratches on it - i said to him come and have a look at what he'd done and he went to have a butchers - his reply was that there wasn't any real damage and it'll polish out - at that point i nearly hit him...! I asked for his details which he wasn't too pleased about giving...

Anyway - took the car for a quote to repair, and its come back at £313... that'll teach the slob to hit my car.

It really *BLEEP*es me off that people think nothing of hitting someone elses car - clear off and leave no trace.. well i caught this fat bastard - lets hope he learns a lesson not to biff other peoples cars eh?
PHEW!!!!

F***er! I have to leave my car in a public carpark for work. No end of times i come back to find yet another door 'dink'. Need to get the old girl resprayed at some point, but i wont be leaving it there if i do.

At least you caught him at it, so fleece him for everything. (try and find the most expensive quote you can)

I hate people with no respect. Even if you dont like cars and dont think they are anything more than a mode of transport you can still respect other peoples feelings towards them. Well done for not punching him, I came close once when a dozy fecker in a people carrier (seems common!) opened his door into my poor 185, left a tiny dink (small enough not to fix but still bloody annoying and visible) but when I yelled after him he jumped back in his car and drove off and I didnt get the number plate. I jumped in the car and considered following him but with the cycle of the lights nearby I'd never catch him through rush-hour traffic. Left a bad taste in my mouth for days, I even went hunting around the same time and place to find him for a few days.

Eventually I let it go but I swear I could have killed him at the time.

your right - some people dont respect others property, even themselves in some cases..
i normally try to park the other side of the car park where its nice and quiet, i even (bad i know) try to take up 2 spaces to park whens all nice and clear...

Most often though i find some fookers parked right next to me.. WHAT FOR ...? Hundreds of other spaces out there .. shessh .. that really bothers me..

used to try and get away with that one, but the local scum (traffic warden) wrote me a ticket for going over the line. thankfully managed to contest it but its ridiculous the size of parking spaces these days. Or is it just that vehicles are getting bigger? defo less space for the idiots who cant park though, and we have to suffer.

Couple of years back saw a guy in Tesco`s carpark reverse into an Astra and really trash it.He then moved to a different space to cover it up.He casually got out and went shopping in Tesco`s.So I took a note of registration plates and passed the info to nice lady at customer services .Over the in store tanoy system comes the request for the owners of the following registration vehicles to come to the customer info desk and do you know what his reply was to accusation ?

"I had every intention of telling you,I was just getting my shopping done 1st !!!"

What a *BLEEP*er :(

Me too id have told the guys and girls at the car garage im sure that they would have experienced something similar and would have inflated it.

A kid fell on my Carr when it was resprayed 2 hours earlier.  He came to me crying the next day and told me what had happended.  I told him not to worry and that id sort it out with his mum and thanks for letting me know.

The divvy bint had a stand up argument with Rog (the other half) on the drive and called him an imbecile, among other things.  I politely went out side to calm things down.  She said that its tuff $h*t and that i shouldn't park my vehicles on the curb.

So they all came out and all went flat on the floor. 2 vans 3 cars. (bikes stayed in the garage) cause no one could move. They stayed there for about 5 Min's and she called the police.

Nothing was done (the vehicles were already gone) and she was told that her son should not ride on the pavement and that it was criminal damage.  She told me that it was not the last id heard of her and i was "in for it" as i didn't know who she was.  At which point i laughed in her face and told her to ask about for me.

I ended up paying for my car to be re-done yet again.  But she has a nice shiny new Jag thats parked out side over night.  Drive by water pistol full of something nasty? I have a long memory.
Trouble by name trouble by nature.  It just happens that way.

I regularly parked the Four across two bays if there was plenty of free space, to prevent the car park dings. I regularly got people telling me I couldn't park by way of small notes on the windscreen. Quite frustrating considering I am one of the people who CAN park, I'm just protecting myself from those who can't. People do tend to "herd" - park 300 yards from the shop front in a space with no other cars for 200 yards, someone will park in the next space and cram up against you. What is that? I'm going to start preparing cards to leave on windscreens like
"Does your car get lonely? .... then f*ck off and park somewhere else next time"

:)
