What to do??

right i've been thinking about this for a while now but im still not sure what to do, so i thought i'd ask on here for advice :D i've been looking at tommi evo 6's but before i jumped onto that boat i rang my insurance company and they said they wouldn't insure me on one soooo im wondering whether i should save up for my dream evo 6 tommi maybe when im 25 or.... an engine rebuild for the 4?? what you think should i save or spend :)

whats the insurance gonna be on a modified 4?

It's a hard one to answer for you mate, but were all biased here so it gonna be an  engine in the four  ;D

I just happen to know where there is a Tommi with 5000miles on the clock. Only on the road for one year and locked away ever since. Has one of the nicest engine bays I have ever seen.

its 3 years away could you wait that long and the sainz was always my dream car i had to wait til i was 25 to get insurance on it (had it in my dads name for a few months before my 25th) its really a decision you need to think about and tommi's will be abit cheaper in 3yrs time

Save the money and the regrets, set a sensible limit on what to spend on the four in the meantime, wait it out then go for the Tommi.

You know it makes sense  :)

cheers for the replies guys im gonna save for now i think as lets face it all the money i put into my 4 i'll never see half of it back and i'd still want a tommi after the new engine if i was to go down that road so until then think i'll enjoy the celica for all its glory :D

What makes you think the Evo is gonna cost you less in bills ? I think you will pay a lot less maintaining a faff than an evo :o

Got to agree there Doc, the servicing alone is incredible. However, if you want a dream car then you sort of accept the baggage that accompanies it?

an evo would be more upkeep this is why i want to save and maybe look into it later in life, i really like the four at the moment and am thinking seriously into a engine rebuild towards the end of the year but we'll have to wait and see hopefully if i win the lotto it could be soner rather than later :)
