Took the Vitara in for its MOT yesterday
Now bear in mind it is a 700 quid auction special for an R reg Vitara
I spent Tuesday night bodging the exhaust which had rotted away at the end (17 inches of it )
I also put a plate in one of the bumper resesses (sp?) where the near side fog light had melted. I only found out it had melted away when I started digging away at what I thought was congealed mud behind the bumper.
I checked all the lights etc and forgot to check the number plate lights
I was expecting a fail but it bloody well passed
They gave us an advisory on the front brakes and had to replace 2 number plate lights and a headlight buld that 'popped' when it was there. They also had to adjust the headlights.

OK, so it's a Vitara and nobody is really bothered but I am utterly amazed...and happy

Time to get the lift kit and some good off road tyres onto it

We're looking at doing a bit of green laning when it's lifted and shod with decent tyres

Been told 'Insa Turbo' tyres are pretty good. Any ideas about them?

TBH Gaz I use BFG all terrain's never heard of those 

4x4 acsseries and tyres are a good place to get 'em from
