hello again , i'm thinkin about a light fly wheel and uprated clutch, even tho mine is still ok i feel this is the next mod before an uprated turbo and injectors, what do u guys think is the best approach, the fidanza fly wheels are not far from 300 quid and are alloy but ebay has steel ones less than half that price , which one
. and can u feel more power with them cheers

I wouldnt bother...i bought a Fidanza and its so not worth it, the car may rev a little quicker but the drivability isnt as good, I`ll never buy another one..but the money towards the new turbo...thats a much better upgrade

My experiences are different. Got my Fidanza from the USA £170 delivered. Yes needs a few more revs going up hill slowly but thats the only down side, not too difficult to increase pedal pressure. Yes it does boost quicker. Thats what i`ve found. Did not expect any more than the above.

Imho, fidanza/lightweight flywheel = less inertia, therefore better acceleration available, coupled with your turbo upgrade and supporting mods you'll discover a noticeable increase in performance.
Cheers

It is undoubtedly better, but I didnt bother in the end as I herad the differences were so minimal as to not make it worth the cost. That said I have an MR2 flywheel which is lighter (6kg) than the celica one by all accounts of celica weights.

Gotta say having just fitted my 2nd hand fidanza f/w I have not really noticed any difference at all. I can not honestly detect any difference in the revs, but it does require few more revs to get up drive and into garage!!
