Coast to coast cycle, sponsors needed :)
« on: August 18, 2008, 12:21:22 am »
Because I know four owners are such a nice bunch  8) ;D

This bank hol weekend I am cycling the coast to coast (150miles) in order to help raise some money for charity, all the details, including how to donate are on the following site set up by the organiser:

http://www.justgiving.com/coastxcoast2008

I'm not a cyclist really, keep meaning to get into it more and figured this will be a good way to kill two birds with one stone (throw myself in at the deep end). But to give you an idea I have probably only cycled about 30 miles in the last month! So it may be a bit of a challenge for me

Please donate generously, even a couple of quid will do, every little helps! I will let you know how it goes and post up some pics/day diary etc if requested  ;D

Cheers chaps!

Don't you have enough stress in your life?
Cycling is for people who don't have enough stress in their lives and so have to create some. If you need stress you can have some of mine and save yourself the coronary.

Modifying a bike is just as stressfull as modifying a car, I can tell you that much  ;D

My bike now has 6 pot hydraulic disc brakes with braided lines!  ::)

It just dawned on me, my bike probably has more stopping power than most 185's  ;D
