1992 CS
« on: February 29, 2008, 10:03:30 am »
Unfortunatley it's time to bite the bullet. My car has to go  . I just can't afford to run it anymore as i'm having to cough up 2k to pay my way through my plumbing tickets.

here's the bumf then:

1992 GT4 st185 CS number 2680 of 5000

stamped toyota history up 107k
every MOT since new
HPI clear (checked by previous owner when i bought it)
clifford imobiliser
MOT'd till october Taxed till end of May

Sensible modifications including:

MOMO race steering wheel (£120 in Halfrauds)
3' downpipe and bracket
electronic boost controller (switches between actuator pressure and your desired boost pressure)
TVSV disabled
Mechanical Boost Gauge

work carried out since i've had the car:

2x oil and filter changes
New dizzy cap, rotar arm and plugs done at 134K
New O2 sensor at 134K
New fuel filter and injection timmer sensor done at 136K
New clutch, front and rear brake pads done at 137K
New engine thermostat done at 141K
New camcover gaskets (both) done at 141K

Compression tested while i was doing the plugs and all cylinders cam back with as close as makes no difference 200psi

Bad bits:
Air con needs re gassing as i disconnected one of the hoses accidentilly while putting the downpipe on
rear diff mush needs replacing (i may do this if i can get the money together)

Along with the car comes a host of spare parts stripped from a donor car, including:

stripped engine block
good conrods
crank (looks ok but i'm no engineer)
pistons (don't look ok but i'm no engineer)
stripped cylinder head (have kept all valves, lifters, retainers and collets labelled and bagged. Stem oil seals have gone though)
CT26 turbo
Inlet manifold
Ported TVIS plates
Exhaust Manifold (tiny crack on 3rd runner but no sote)
Rear drive shafts

the list goes on and on. I was planning on having the spare engine rebuilt with forged pistons but never had the money to actually do it

I'm after £3250 OVNO,
like i said before i don't want to sell this car and as a compromise have only put it on this forum AND THE OC, as i don't want some charver tw*t taking it and f*cking up all the hard work i've put into it.
