New camera...

Well my good old camera has been written off by the insurance company
(It was a Kodak DX6490 that developed a fault with the scroll button)

So...in replacement...I have a Panasonic FZ18
Not quite a Digital SLR but not a bad bridging camera to start with I guess

Time to learn how to take photographs now I guess
Is anybody into photography?
Can you reccomend any good sites/forums to look at?
Reccomend a good tripod maybe?

join your local amateur photo club - bound t be one near you.  look in the library..

my misses just said you should have gone to jessops..(she would..she works in their hr department) their doing free digital prints for a year.!!!

Manfrotto are the creme da la creme tripods mate,but expensive.As to joining a camera club the local one is good advice but also look up Panasonic FZ18 clubs on the net
