Forums are great
« on: April 05, 2010, 05:15:47 pm »
When I got in the M3 today the radio and cd player decided they werent working alought I had sat nav. So I searched through a BMW forum and they suggested pulling the fuses as this has worked for other people and hey presto I have sound again.

I would have checked the fuses but my point is that without the likes of forums and the helpfull people on them it may have been a trip to BMW for some open wallet surgery.

Have to fully agree with you fella, Loads of times over the years I've nipped onto forums etc to find out about niggles, especially on the run of the mill cars I have. Take the other halves Mondeo, the air bag light was flashing, so I went on and found out it actually flashes a code that i can then check to see whats up. Someone pointed out its more often than not just the plug under the seat. I had just had the car valeted and what do you know, it had been knocked. clicky back in and hey presto, no more airbag light  ;)
