"A motorist has pleaded guilty to driving at 172mph on a rural A-road, making him the fastest speeder ever caught in Britain".
i bet he'll get at least 6 months inside.
-
Was he in a 165?
Or is mine the only one that fast? ;) ;) ;)
-
jeez thats quick. i managed 150 in europe when i did the modball, and someone pulled out on me before i had chance to see what it tops out at.
i also got airbourne doing 120mph
-
he was in a 911 turbo.

Tim Brady, 33, was caught in a random speed check on the A420 near Abingdon, Oxfordshire, driving a £98,000 3.6-litre Porsche 911 Turbo in January this year.
The current highest speed to result in a conviction is 156mph.'
He resigned from the car hire firm he worked for on the next day!!
-
i wudnt have resigned!!!!
free publicity he probably wud have got some business from that
its not right but its true lol
-
I managed 165 (on the speedo) in a tuned MA70 on an erm abandoned road, I mean airstrip officer. It still had a bit left but started taking a while to creep up.

Big up the Mk3 8)

"Fastest Ever Speeder Caught"
wasn't andy s fleeing the the local cattle market after abusing the sheep.?
-
yeah they were saying he was covering over 3 mile a minute 2 which i think you have to be doing over 180mph but who cares thats damn quick for a public road over here
-
although didnt the jap guy from top secret get caught doing 190 odd on the A1?
-
did he get caught i don't think he did, i think the video he made convicted him
-
sure he did but rather than prosecute they packed him and the car off home :-\
-
yeah he got caught, but i dont think he was going fast when they saw, just enough to catch their attention. it was the vid that did it. he was told never to bring that car back into the country again. lol
-
sure he did but rather than prosecute they packed him and the car off home :-\
think they did prosecute him, fined him, and banned him. i think he may have been jailed for a short while im not sure. something like 2 weeks.
-
i would have done 2 weeks just to sit alongside the mad man
-
Only if he hadnt killed your parents while up to his antics.... Theres driving fast and theres taking the P on a public road with other living things around. Drive fast if conditions allow, i dont think any conditions other than a track allow 180mph :)
Think im getting old...lol
-
lol its all hypothetical in my terms, when are you going to get chance to sit in the technology he had that day, and i'm only a year odd away from your age hope i'm not getting the same
