As of the end of the month it'll be insured again. Best get it MOT ready :) It's pretty much there now just not pretty and I've few free weekends for the next few weeks. I'm a bit giddy.
-
Nice one. Hope it was cheap enough!
Check the tank ain't rusty, cost me £82 to fill mine last week.
If you get it all legal soon, fancy meeting up for coffee and a blast?
-
my insurance is due 21st of april wish me luck please
hoping its cheap as spending loads at the moment on other stuff :)
-
Great news mate :D pics required, of course ;)
-
Tank should be fine...I hope. Costs me 75 to fill the bloody peugeot anyway!
Insurance is definitely up, it was costing me 550 in a fairly dodgy area to be fully comp, I'm now out in the sticks in a quiet village and its 540 TPFT, which I'm a bit angry about but it was the best I could find (Sky).
Yep, sure - it needs a run and I need coffee regularly!
Pics will follow once I've killed myself with 2pack paint :)
-
Try Admiral - £385 fully comp!
-
Admiral are good, multicar for Four + Astra = £432 fully comp. (10 and 6 yrs NCB respectively)
-
If it's only limited milage, it's worth trying competition car insurance from REIS (was Richard Egger).
Was about £300 - £350 for 5K miles (third party only). Any mods permitted, you don't even need to declare. Only proviso is you need to be a member of an MSA affiliated club (membership usually about £15)
-
Admiral won't accept a car "as modified as that", I was insured with them for my other car.
I need fire and theft coverage or it would be very very low, third party only is a bit limited!
