Hi all
Anyone ever used a HDI electronic boost controller? I'm after something simple after dropping the AVC-R a while back and these seem to get good reviews and price is good...
Anyone use in the 4?

i use the hks avc 5.. scimples :-* And very accurate.

Over the years I think I've probably had them all, EVC, DSBC, AVC-R etc and all do the same job, control boost, so I figured I'd give the HDI a go, it doesn't have a huge brand behind it but I've also learnt over the years that doesn't always guarantee quality.
I read round a bit and they seem solid and work well, so I've bought one anyway, lets see how it goes, bargain price as well ;)
I'll post back up once it arrives and review general build quality etc

ive got a gizzmo boost controller had it about a year that was only £160 cant tell you what its like its still in its box ;D
got to find a wiling person who knows what they are doing (hint hint anyone from essex ) ;D

looked at the Gizmo as well, seemed good value like the HDi but I like the look of the HDI and it comes with a traditional looking boost gauge which fits in with the rest of the car ;)

Arrived today from Hong Kong, looks great, very good build quality etc and seems simple enough to install with all the required parts supplied.
Impressive all round, including them stating electronic parts to the value of $50 on the customs form ;)
I'll report back once installed ;) might even take a few snaps along the way ;D
