hi all did intend to do a bit of a road trip diary but the iphone kept not letting me post kept telling me ive timed out and try re posting, nether mind. As some of you might have known i went to the states for a bit of a drive around (about 2300miles) from san francisco down highway 1 along the coast road all the to san diego on the mexican border then across to vegas ,yosemite national park then back to san francisco and lots of places along the way.
ive got be be honest i was shocked they have some of the best driving roads ive ever been on with cliff top sweeping roads ,dives and climbs from sea level upto 2500 on the cliff edge i only wish i had a more capable car, dont get me wrong the car i was driving had a 5.7L v8 with about 360 brake but it weighed about the same as the moon with rick waller sitting on it!!
and didnt really handle that great but it did nearly get 18 mpg on the freeway and got it down to 3 mpg driving down some dodgey
unmade dirt road, i will get some pics up latter with a little bit of info to go with to tired to carry on been up since thursday and couldnt get to sleep on the plane strating to fall asleep at the keyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh shhhhhhhh aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh shhhhhhhhhhhhh

Sounds like you had quite an adventure, Can't wait to see some pics. Sounds like a 'Four would have been better suited to the job, but at least you had fun!
