Ok boys, here are the results
Wheel power: 215.1bhp
Engine power: 295.3bhp
Corrected power: 308.9bhp
Drag power:80.2bhp
Max power at 6655rpm @ 187.1 km/h
Torque 354Nm (261 lb/ft)
Max torque at 5150rpm @ 144.7 km/h
Ambient temp: 29.0 'C
Intake temp: 31.6 'c
AFR 0.865 lambda (I think is 12.6 by conversion website)
This was at 1.2 bar which he reckoned was perfectly safe.
He reckoned he was being a bit cautious and said he would prefer if I had fitted the walbro before getting it mapped.
Also he thought the performance from the Turbo Technics hybrid was *BLEEP*e and best left to forged big horsepower engines.
So in comparison to the Blitz access I had I have gained 12bhp at the wheels but lost 15lb/ft.
My transmission losses are very high at 80bhp but could it be his machine as there was an EVO6 there that made 240bhp at the wheels but was calculated at 306bhp.
OK as I've said before tear me apart ;)
(Don't have a scanner at home will post the graph tomorrow)

Did you run a Blitz access before or are you comparing it to other peoples Blitz figures.
Also you are on 95ron fuel over there arent you? :(
-
12.6:1 - id have thought that was a little on the lean side at those pressures myself. From what I've heard most people seem to tune the 3sgte to ~11.5-12:1.
-
Transmission losses aeem to very from RR to RR, iirc the norm seems to be about 22%
Cheers
-
Nosher: Yep I got your Blitz Access dyno'd before you got it and am comparing it to that.
He reckoned the loss of torque is down to the hybrid turbo.
I'm going to give him a ring about the AFR as it wasn't on a printout he just went back to his computer and told me what it was and considering he was talking in lambda I may have picked it up wrong.
-
Oops ::) Didnt realise it was you when i posted this morning John ::)
Silly me eh LOL
Anyway im more than happy with your old Blitz, ta very mucho matey ;D
-
Glad to hear it Norm:)
I've spent a small fortune since and what did it get me.......Blitz Access performance ;D
-
im bringing my car to martin for PFC mapping in a few weeks, how much did he charge you?i think ill fit a walbro before going to him though
-
He charged me €300 and I had to leave it for a full day.
Definately fit the walbro before you go, save you getting it mapped twice.
Very impressed with how the car drives afterwards.
Well done getting the Power FC ;)
-
its finding somebody to fit the walbro thats the problem,my mechanic will do anything but wont fit the walbro >:(
300 is alright, what is your spec list john so i can compare to mine
-
Apexi Power FC (Duhh!)
Power fc boost control kit
Turbo Technics Hybrid stage 1 (at this level not an advantage)
Aussie downpipe
Standard flexi
Kakimoto 3" from flexi back
Apexi induction kit (changed from HKS, no difference)
-
so i should expect similar power figures maybe?
Full 2.75 or 3'' exhaust system with BuddyClub Pro-Spec 4'' muffler
3'' stainless steel decat pipe
Blitz electronic boost controller 1.1/1.2 bar
Apexi Power FC ecu & commander
hks ssqv blow off valve also have SARD R2D2 blow off valve
hks intake
-
Can't see why not.
Will be interesting to see what it makes considering the spec is so similar. :)
-
does the lads in your garage fit walbros john?i cant find anyone that wants to fit them :'(
-
Yeah, they would do it.
Find out a price for you tomorrow.
-
cheers man much appreciated, ill go on the hunt for the walbro tomorro!
-
Stock pump and injectors run fine with the Turbotechnics Stage 1. As and when you upgrade the turbo, that would be the time to do the pump.
Cheers

so you dont reckon ill need a walbro running stock turbo at say 1.1/1.2bar with fc etc?
-
I'm prepared to be told different but I reckon your stock tubby would give up before the injectors. Upgrading the injectors would require mapping anyway, so might as well wait for your new tubby?
Cheers
