Title: day @shakespeares..

spent a day with a few guys and gals from my local rs clubs down shakespeares raceway today.. and manged to do the gt4 world proud..  I managed 6, 1/4 mile runs before end of session. Best of Day to goldie.  :D

1, 13.940 @ 98.190mph  
2, 12.627 @  109.710
3, 12.435 @ 113.040
 
With laurnch control.. 4k set.

4, 11.679 @ 122.76
5, 11.477 @ 120.44
6, 11.364 @ 124.17    Personal Best.

Cracking times! Well done for representing the fourternity. There must've been a few folk asking "what the hell is in that thing!?!"

I'm pretty sure it will go quicker.. Need to loose some kg's and remove the tein coilovers..   :(  changing the rear camber and dropping so air might also so help  ;D

IIRC, the spoiler adds ~80kg at 100mph ;)

Next time I'll remove it and give it a try.. 80kg loss is a massive gain. What I need to achieve is a fast road going car that handles.

Lol, nice work. I reckon it doesn't allow for LC then cos the terminal is near enough. You had it weighed then?

That's 80kg of downforce though, not mass. You need to loose mass if you want to improve acceleration.

So as your speed increases so does the effective weight of the vehicle then? If you remove the source of the prospective downforce then there won't be the effective addition?

I dont think theres such a thing as cheap 888's  :'( Camskill are usually pretty close to the mark though.
