Hi Mark, welcome to the club. A nice selection of motors to cater for any eventuality, lol.
Some nice little touches on the 4, clear front and side repeaters. What issues are you having with it? Anything we can help with?

Cheers

Hello again all, sorry its been so long, i been major busy and the upshot of this is the GT4 has had huge amounts of work and modifications done!

first off the ex manifold was buggered, warped big time so i replaced it with a stainles tubular manifold, next a front mount intercooler was needed, i got a Sierra Cosworth i/c fitted neatly to the front but no space for induction pipes so the defective air con was removed and the old cooling fan also removed and then 2x 12" "pusher" fans fitted to the front of the rad, this gave me space for induction pipes to fmic...

new front roll bar drop links fitted, stainless steel down pipe bracked fitted as it was missing, then a good bargain, brand new stainless 3" "Japspeed" exhaust for only £150, but the front wishbone brace had to be lowered for the pipe to fit through the space, the rear subframe was also dropped to fit the rear section as well... then got it running and found water pump leaking, so stripped the front of the engine to find a hell of a mess, cam shatf oil seals leaking and had been for years, area was exstensively cleaned and rebuilt with new seals, new cam belt and new water pump.. the engine mount bracket had a bolt missing the other 2 loose.. also fitted new thermostat too and repalced as many hoses as i could.
Next was fuel cut defender made and fitted in only 30 mins (if only Supras was this easy, lol) next boost controller set to 15psi but clutch slipping in 4th so back down to 12 to 13 psi.. for clutch preservation, new grooved and cross drilled front brake discs and mintex pads, then new suspension, i got Apexi adjustables shocks with Apexi lowering springs that drop it by about 35mm... then i noticed the tracking was miles out, so today had 4 wheel alignement done and i was glad to hear the only problem was the tracking mainly at o/s/f
Induction pipes have been lagged and i also have a straight inlet to turbo as the battery has been relocated to the boot

it now drives great and goes like hell...and im so happy with it, the suspension costing in total a little over £200!

loads of pics not in any particular order

had a bad exhaust blow, i wonder where from? lol

Thanx guys, and all the hard work is sort of what i like as well as the performance results too...
i decided to up the boost again today to about 14/15psi and come to the conclusion the clutch IS ok as long as the engine is up to full operating temp, no slipping at all, thankfully lol

Clutch has now decided after a few launches of dropping the clutch at 5k rpm to start to give up so its engine and box out, new clutch, maybe a OSgiken twin plate, and head gasket change. i got a Cometic metal head gasket and ARP stud/nut to fit, + the head will be completely rebuilt, il re shell the big ends when its out, well why not?

So sometime after Jae il get busy and then i can up the boost to 18 psi, maybe even 20 but will have to see how the fuel system copes
