Thanks

Well the turbo went just after xmas, ive justsorted it all out couple months ago bought a second hand turbo from a low mileage car, Everything is working fine now but i have a huge loss in power, car is very hesitant when cold and judders when trying to pull away, cant be plugs or leads as i had a full service while turbo was replaced.

The engine management light is on, the guy who fixed it said there was alot of oil in my cat and it had a rattle, also the charge cooler pump aint working lol

I love the car but they take so much upkeeping  :(

Tell me about it. 5 years ownership though, and things are slowly starting to level out.

I have a similar problem of hesitancy and juddering when cold. Ive got to start working my way round the sensors, and i believe there is a cold start system which also could be the culprit.

Keep me informed of your findings, and i'll do the same.

Theres plenty of techies on here though who should be able to point you in the right direction

Hi Will, as has been said, there are a few of us in Newcastle so hope to see you around :)
Checks the meets section for a trip to Ten of the Best in a few weeks if your faffs sorted by then?

WTTC  ;)

Also keep an eye out for the Metrocentre monthly meeting which seems to have become the most regular Northern Meet. 2nd Wednesday of every month.

As mark said, TOTB is coming up, more the merrier  ;).

Hi Will welcome to the club. As Steve says, we've a few meets coming up, including one at Croft circuit - Modified, Performance North East on the 19th

Is it possible that after some of the problems you describe, it may have switched to 'safe mode'? I'm not a 'faffer' but have heard this mentioned before

Out of interest, how much do those 16's weigh?

Cheers
