How come it's in for a respray Jeff? I see there obviously been a few dings filled but was it just for a freshin up?

That's it exactly.
A lot of the spare time I have now was spent trying to get her back in shape but when I counted all the 'trolly dings' and the light scrapes I had awarded her over the last5 years, along with the swirls and light scratches from previous owners, I thought I'd treat her to a full massage and titivation.
the wife got her new bathroom... I get a tidy looking car :)

fair 'nuff! Should look mint when it's done. I presume it's just a basic exterior re-spray?

Nice one Jeff. I'm sure she'll look stunning when it's finished. You must post lots of pictures.

It's a pity you can't get a 'respray' for the ladies when they get a bit old and frayed around the edges.  :o
(Mind you, they'd probably say the same about us  ;)).

can't wait to see the finished article, Jeff. I love when they come out of the spray booth looking like glass. And take two car parking spaces in future, save those inconsiderate shoppers the pain of resting their door against yours.

How about  "my other four is a proper one"

Alternatively, you could always use any of your numerous posts that only seem to make sense to you!  :D

The garage is basically at the bottom of my estate! He drinks in the same bar as me (but later on, when i am tucked up in bed) He was recommended and it was local so.....
I can only learn from experience :)
the only time I have had paint jobs in the past was to repair slightly bigger dints I had put in cars due to my own stupidity.
This is a first in 40+ years of car ownership and <40 cars too!
As I said..... price to be negotiated on completion :(

Some poor pics atached but I am now poor too!
Some blebs and some overspray but I negotiated a fair price :)

A bit too much for my taste thanks. Nick280 had a red 205 that he castrolised but he sold it on to a lad from Teeside way I think.
I'm just looking for something a bit less obvious but subbtle :)

I used to love my old ST202 with OZ wheels and decals, you could do something similar...

Thats's the sort of thing!
Need a note on the bonnet front....'do NOT push'.
Need a note on each side of the bonnet ...'do NOT sit here' :)
Then a note of my blood group (Replenish with Exibition) on the drivers door :) and one on the passenger door....'enter at own risk' Ha!..........
Actuallllllly that's not a bad set of ideas!!!!!

:) never drank the 'moon juice' since I was a teenager (nearly said teetotaler!) Good old Ex is my favorite.
Never have a chance to drink too much now, what with being a 'house husband etc etc!!!
Got to go and pick the working lady up soon :) she pays the ferryman....????
