Never considered installing gauges at the top of the screen - do they not get in your vision massively? I'm fairly tall but I reckon the they'd be takign over 25% of my view!?

Not at all mate, im 5ft 11" and never had any problems, they are only taking up about an inch of space and if you were to have a sunstrip then it would sit far lower than the gauges would.

Keeps them off the dash and away from prying eyes and if a warning light goes off you can see it straight away :)

Bearing in mind my head brushes on the roof lining and I'd never install a sun strip as it would literally obliterate my long-distance view I'm going to have to try out this new position. Not sure I fancy butting them in the head-on either. Hmmm. Got me thinking though!
