She's giving me... worries!
Well after driving cautiously for weeks because I had what appeared to be exhaust alignment issues I found the real cause. One of the damn bolts I dropped while re-fitting the engine managed to wedge itself between the transfer housing and the front-rear crossmember. For a while I thought I'd had solid mounts fitted by the missus when i wasnt looking, alas I found a slightly mawled bolt and had to extracate it with a long chisel and screwdriver. Silence has returned to the house of Four.
Water leak from the pipes to the right of the water pump suddenly got massively worse though! Arse, if its not one thing its the other!

I know where you're coming from there mate. Just got my DP sorted then discovered a 'bit of play' in the rad drain plug, so I've had to get it re-tapped to get a better seal. I'm also toying with the idea of doing away with the metal joint part of top rad hoses and having one T-piece fabbed. An ally undertray is a pipedream at the mo, lol.
Cheers

Its the whole Four syndrome, symptoms include unrelated part failure during disassembly and reassembly and "new part jealousy" when around better equipped fours.

Or even when you put a new bit in your own 4 and the older bits around it get jealous and spew forth coolant/fumes/debris
