Just decided to do this to see what MPG everyone is getting.
I'm just after filling the car to the neck there at the cost of 65quid (from the red light just going on) so hopefully in a week or so i'll be able to say how many miles i'm getting to a tank.

I was getting around 25ish.
You can work yours out easily, how many miles is it to mommentum?
-
Before I stopped using her as my daily drive it was 22 mpg very consistently.
At Knockhill it was @ 7mpg as far as I can tell!
-
Yeah I get around the 23mpg mark most of the time. We're back to paying 104.9p or there abouts for a litre of V-power up here :'(
-
After I megasquirted mine I was getting ~17 as a daily driver (short hops, heavy throttle use, not fully tuned and erring on teh side of rich for safety) and on long runs I saw 30-32. Before that, on the standard ECU, I consistently got 310 miles on a full tank.
-
i'm paying 111.9p per litre for Topaz super unleaded, done 50miles last night and the needle has just started moving from a full tank.
-
Currently on 700 miles from a tankful (55 quid at 1.07/litre) of D in the estate :D
You can enter your details into spiritmonitor and it'll calculate your costs, mpg etc automaticallly:
http://www.spritmonitor.de/en/ (http://www.spritmonitor.de/en/)
And give you a nice image to show your mpg.... here are mine:

270-280 to the tank (22/23 MPG)
Once I got 300 but that was a long trip.
I fill full every time and reset my trip (I keep a log book too!)
The kia does the same miles but costs half the price to fill :) 44 MPG and that is 'using' it!!!
-
It makes me laugh out loud that I can now do a trip from Glasgow to Bath and back on one tank of fuel, whereas with the Four I'd be lucky to get from Glasgow to liverpool, without a return journey, for the same cost in fuel :D
-
In the 165 I was getting around 18mpg or managing to push it to about 21mpg on a run :D
In the BMW I managed 66mpg once on a run to Coventry and back and a lot of that might have been a little above the speed limit...maybe ;) Around town in the BM I was averaging about 40mpg (heavy foot and broken traction control :D)
Now, in the Forester...which I thought would be 'reasonably' economical I'm managing 29 mpg on a run and 24 around town :o
I can never bloody win :'(
-
And that is exactly why I bought a Focus TDDi for £1000. It averages @ 48mpg, but on a trip to Aberdeen and back it managed 59mpg... and I reckon I could still improve on that.
Keeps the Four is for fun, and hopefully the bodywork will last longer with it being garaged over the winter.
-
Not sure on the actual figure, however, I reckon that Newcastle-Nottingham-Halifax-Newcastle in a day with no more than 4k rpm and less than .5 bar boost must be fairly reasonable, lol
-
im not too sure what sort of mpg i get, but what i did notice was that i got better mpg doing 80-85 then doing 65-70. went to alton towers on the way up was doing anything between 70-90 and used half a tank then filled up when we got there, but on the way home doing a steady 65-70 i used well over half nearly 3/4 how does that work?
still its a lot more than i got the first week i bought the car filled her up with 60 litres of shells finest and 130 miles later was searching for another. my first thought was that the gauge was not working my second was oh s*** she just stalled and wont start!!
-
Maybe the return journey was up hill with a head wind ;D
-
or it could be all the junk food we ate :)
-
Just filled up the motor cost me £59 so i'll see how far I can get :-\ lol
-
I've just driven 502 km with my Starlet P8 and could only get 26 L in.. Needle was on the E line, but manual says it has a 40 L tank. So I reckon 600+ km is possible on a tank? :o
CS is still on stock ECU so I guess 26 km on 50.2 L ;D

Here's a question... what is the most economical speed to drive a GT-Four (or specifically a 205)? I know most people use 55mph as a rule of thumb for cars generally, but this is actually quite misleading as cars can vary greatly depending on engine size, gearing, rolling mass, transmission loss etc. as this image in Wikipedia illustrates... (the Celica being the 7A-FE laden american variant of the gen 6 presumably)

I am interested as this could make a lot of £££s difference on a long journey. Obviously, these cars are meant to be driven fast, but when you're on a particularly dull piece of road it's be nice to know if you're optimising your spondoolicks, as it were.
