i'll tell you this, that thing is nuts.

I like the way he used a proper GT4, shows the man has taste as well as skills.
Especially like the arches.
-
Definately a bit wacky, but respect for the effort.
Tell me this though, how come they can get something like that (not necessarily that one) to be street legal in the US, but they're not allowed imported ST205's? I assume it's more to do with trade laws than transport rules.

its standard emissions that let the faff down when it comes to being released in US, they are too high. It was the same for many japanese manufacturers, the skyline R32, 33, 34 were never allowed over there iirc for the same reason, the US has a 20year law after that amount of years has passes since the car was released you can import that model over there, so the US have 5 more years to wait before they can bring in a faff, Canada has a 15year similar law and they are just receiving their faffs as of 4months ago.

Yup I think it was a case of emissions were too high and toyota couldnt be bothered downtuning it to pass for the few that would be sold.

Crazy car but so cool.
Why would the yanks want a faff in the 1st place? Surely even the yanks have better taste than that?
