its been known for quite a while it was Ben Collins there was even a pic of him standing beside the Stig at one stage to put people off thinking it was him.......

He was also named as a witness at the "Hamsters" jet car crash, so he's been in the frame for quite some time.
But as fifegt4 said they will be needing a new stig now.

No they won't, if they just keep using him and tell everyone they have a new one there will be total confusioni :)

lol that would be hilarious, especially when the new stig is 'unmasked' hehe  8) ;D
