Title: Pranged the four! :( :( :'(

So I was out driving, and on a particularly twisty road. It was raining and the road was pretty greasy. Car started to hydroplane going around a corner and the back swung out so I ended up spinning and I managed to go through a fence. Took out about 4 posts and tangled up the wires lol. The car was stopped by a big pile of hay bales. I was really worried when I saw all this water falling out from under the car, as i thought I punctured the rad. Turned out to just be the washer fluid bottle (relief).
I was thankful that I was simply able to free the car from the wire and then drive away. The rear quarter panels just behind the doors are dented a bit, so i'll just push them out. Drivers side front guard is all pushed in. A bit of denting to the top edge of the rear drivers side wheel arch. And the car is left with minor scratches all over from the barbed wire. I'm a bit p!ssed off, but it could have been a lot worse and Im thankful I was able to drive off. All I will need to repair it is time, some paint, and some good ol' bog.

hey thanks for that. It could have been a lot worse lol. And the car isnt too damaged either, mainly just superficial scratches and dents. I'm glad that there was the big pile of hay bales because that stopped me, and there was fence wire looped over the back of the exhaust so if I carried on over the field it could have ripped the better part of my exhaust system off. I bought some bog today, and I'm off to hyundai tomorrow, because the colour my car was repainted is a hyundai colour (a shame really as its a nice colour)

sorry to hear that fella. sounds like you and the car came off relatively well though, so that's a bonus.

It would have been cool if i could have seen video footage of the crash, because it would have looked pretty cool. Also, its a very unique sound, taking out fence posts with the side of the car

count yourself very lucky as it could have been alot more costly. I've had some serious accidents in my day some my own fault some others but since then i've grown up and became more aware, so just think of it as a learning curve. Also when things go bad, just make them better than before when fixing them. Good luck with it Josh

Sorry to hear that mate as everyones said least you came out of it ok and good to hear the car will be fine after some TLC. I rolled a car after 6hours of owning it when i was young and foolish that certainly gave me a huge wake up call.

Glad you are safe and well mate, the car is just metal after all not flesh and bone. still it is good to hear that the damage is not too serious. Hope you get it all fixed.

yeah, thanks for the positive comments people! i will try to take some pics of the damage for you to see. It certainly has been a bit of a wake up call, and like you say I have learnt from my mistakes (well i hope so at least!). I wont be able to work on fixing it tomorrow as I have that set aside for a heavy duty spud cannon that I am building. I'll post a thread on that too for those interested :)

nowt wrong with a few dents and scratches ;) mine is plastered in the buggers, but unfortunately none were done by me >:(
saving my ass off at the mo, as i want a good respray. The missus also wants us to move out, which is just god damn inconciderate!
