Hey that is a class example of a 165, credit to ya

Nice...very nice :)
Are you going to keep the stock look, or sort it out with springs/alloys etc?
-
Mmmmmm shiney!
Nice car mate, look after it :)
-
think ill sort out the alloys cos they are actually quite tatty
and the rest prob keep stock.

did you buy it from a lad in Southampton? if so get a turbo heat shield fitted ASAP ;)
-
yes i did what do u know about it??
and yeh i tested turbo it barely spins :S
but no black smoke....got turbo lined up for friday
if im honest he sold me a bit of a lemon but im willing to do the work so its not all bad
wud have liked it to last more than 2 weeks b4 breaking though
-
saw the car at a rolling road last autumn, hence the video footage. i remember it made factory bhp despite not having the heat shield... a time bomb in need of attention. had some soggy shocks and xs exhaust?
thats about it.
what i do know is a car like that will absorbe huge amounts of cash. i have been throwing money at mine for 4 years. everything needed replacing sooner or later.
but my shed is finally comming together...after a year in storage
-
thanks for the insight mate
and i agree totally
exhaust is far to big and apparantly not good for engine or turbo
i have lined up turbo...heat shield
passanger cv.s bearings
plus some plank used water with no addatives in the rad! so ive flushed that
but touch wood the engine actually seems very strong
oh an i think ill need new clutch soon
so anyone got 5k they want to INVEST hahaha
