come on then what is the estimate mpg of a 4 going to jae.......
Also Estimate of Cee and Chris's FORD and honda ;D cars put together compared to a 4....
-
I'll estimate ya 4 getting 22mpg, Cee nearer 40mpg and me 52mpg ;)
-
On a long run of 'convoy' driving I would expect c.25mpg from mine, if im staying off boost I can get it up to about 30mpg :)
-
Yep, I agree there Rob, tho Daz will bring the average down a bit ;)
-
tell me this, why are you two going in separate cars.........
-
Its not eh mileage its the ££age, Ive put £200 aside for fuel.... :(
25-30 on low boost with a block of wood under the loud pedal.
Chris and Cee will be transporting the small village that is the GT4EC roadshow ;)

Yep.. our stuff and club stuff.. besides we always take 2 cars.. just this time it's not 4's :) The only way I can travel in the one of the cars with the marquee is with my knees round my ears... didn't fancy that for 6 hours ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
Depending on the speed of the convoy I'll be looking at 55-60mpg 8) Shame it's not the Four :'( but I'll be at the back of the convoy for 3 reasons,
1. I'll be in a BMW :o ;D
2. Slip stream the convoy for higher MPG ;D ;D ;D
3. I'll be following ;)
-
4. You know your place ;)
-
he is a big bitch ain't he lol
-
Hehe:
5. Your lane pass has been revoked ;D ;D ;D
-
Well...having led most of the way (badly :D) I managed 51.3mpg average 8) over a 488 mile round trip.
That includes leaving the car running on the stand for an hour charging Chris's phone and then mine seen as somebody whacked the generator up to 300 volts and setting my mains charger alight ;D :o
-
i managed 328miles on 3/4 of a tank.. so i dont know what that is in mpg ???
-
well i managed 33mpg including getting stuck on M25 on way home on average speed of of course 70mph... ish on the way home lol
-
670 miles on about £130 of VPower including all of the assosciated sillyness ;)
-
now thats not bad driveby
-
Yeah I thought so, Id actually budgeted for about £200.
Daz said we'd do it on £120 so was pretty damn close

I bet Daz's was nearer £150 after Saturday night ;D
-
most ive done on a tank is 440ish miles.. all at not much boost though bar 2 stints on the geman roads
on back from JAE the 320 out of 3/4 tank was with quite abit of fun involved.. all legal obviously. :) which i didnt think was too bad. shame it was so bloody far away.. mind you, my 164miles wasnt far in comparison to alot of others!
-
I was more worried about my pig skin bonnet hitting the windscreen ;)
Probably used about the same as you then Mark judging by how much fuel you had left at the various stops.
-
yeah 440 was about the best i got in the sainz as well and that was in Germany too, didn't have the faff long enough to see a full tank ffs
-
Mine did £120 just on the saturday night :o
-
Well, Gaz I managed 55.9 over 641 miles. It would have been higher but we had to wait at the Tyne Tunnel during the rush hour lol.
Cheers
-
700km/434 miles on £75
which works out at around 31.8mpg
-
Haven't had a chance to look at mine yet - though it won't have been helped by my satnav lady wanting to take us home via London :o :o :o :o Next time I'm investing in a new map when I can't find the old one!
Oh.. and my rear side tyre blowing on A1 has offfset any fuel saving for coming the Civic, lol
If I never smell petrol again it'll be too soon - I think I inhaled more than any of you used with the gennies sloshing around :)
