OK, I am bored beyond belief being a passenger and decided to find new ways to amuse myself - hence the number plate game.......... ;)
The simple idea is to find the coolest/daftest/blingest/most inappropriate personalised plates on the road.
The only rule is you must actually spot them on the road - not ones you think up in a carlesberg haze, or spot for sale in autotrader! :-\
Extra Kudos for a piccy, (taken by your willing passenger of course) 8)
Heres the one that started it off - in the "Who on earth would pay for that" category!! ???

-

-
^ Or a pimp, 'cause the 850 is THE pimp Beemer of it's time :)
-
I like this game, need to get some posted up from round here, oh dear ???
-
Cracking idea for a game, I'll start looking. Dont really get to sit in queues up here in Scotland though :(
-
Seen on a Porsche 911 a good while ago, thought it was pretty cool :) A911 CAN ;)
-
I saw GOO 100 last night??? Same theme as Jools first post?
Also a mate actually paid money for H7 HOE
-
We need pics they are so much funnier when you can actually see the plates :D
Am I the only driver who has a passenger that carries a camera with them just incase ;D ;)
-
I'm usually on my own in the car, or teaching, neither of which allows me use of a camera, lol. However, the 'best' one I've seen was when Cee and I had to leave the Skipton meet to get her to Newcastle airport (all legally, honest). It was and Aston drop-top with WH05E DB, so I hooned it past the flash tw@t ;D ;D
-
The two best I've seen were VAN 17 Y (vanity) on a Chevette!! (was mint tho) :o
And a lad with a streetfightered Fireblade, A 12" NOB ;D ;D ;D ;D
-
Got a couple recently...
-
Not bad - was kicking myself yesterday, didn't spot one till he was leaving the drag strip. I'd been taking pics all day and didn't get one of his plate. :-[
The owner of "Wizard of NOZ" nitrous systems has a Volvo with this rather cool reg.......
W12 NOZ
think it only works if you know who they are tho. :-\

Couple of the cars at a rolling road day had minted plates
the S2000 tokyo (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y143/Parker_EK/JDMy0%20RR%20Day/DSC_0468.jpg)
the eunos roadster (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y143/Parker_EK/JDMy0%20RR%20Day/DSC_0058.jpg)
maybe a bit of a Scottish sayin "How no" lol
-
That S2000 almost looks attractive with those rims!
-
Spotted today, could it be Duran Duran record sales are a tad low? Is this Yasmins new drive?

I've been trying to spot a local farmer who has a white Landy with the reg P 1 GGY, but he's not been around! >:(
More daft ones from Fridays run out.
Crap, but I'd bet it cost a few notes........
Hmmmmm, I wonder what his name could be??

-

-
Yeh Drivby thats pretty cool 8) 8)

i love that plate and would love it for mines, but i have a trick card up my sleeve its just the plate ain't released til next year, but i have it taken off the register already, i just have to bid on it when it comes to auction
-
Ive never bid on an auctioned plate before though I think it can get expensive. A mate of mine was after D3LTA for one of his Integrale's, he bid upto £1.5k but it went for waaay more :(
Good luck on the auction and c'mon spill the beans, whats the plate? :) PM if you dont want it public :-X

was off the dvla auction site.. cost less than an xs power down pipe delivered. ;D
-
I cant decide how I like it best, Custard or CS TRD :)
-
Saw a couple today on a drive out but I'm not as quick on the camera as Jools is so didnt get any pics.
One was for a Yaris though and was something like Y11 RIS though, cant remember the other now :-\
-
yeah you guys get it handy though as you's are governed by the DLVA i'm governed by the DVLNI and to put an English Plate on a Northern Irish car we have to pay for it to be transferred to an English car first then onto a NI car, it can't be done direct and most Number plate companies over here charge a minimum of £117.50 +VAT plus the 80quid transfer, its a balls tbh
-
I cant decide how I like it best, Custard or CS TRD :)
i prefer custard. ;D
-
