Post by: sean2979 on June 07, 2008, 09:05:19 pm
Hi all, i am Sean and i have an ST205

Had it just over a year now and love it, had it down the strip and hoping this year to get some track work done but having some teething problems with a few mods i have just done, hope to get them ironed out very shortly though!

I am from Bolton so if there is anything going on in the North west please let me know!

Just Map work on it really and my boost controller gave up so trying to figure that out before buying a new one, Just had Cams and cooler put on it and now it is much slower that it was after some teapots mapped it  :'(

So new controller and another map and i should be getting the figures i was hoping for!

Looks like there are some real weapons on here, hope my Four can do me and you all proud once its right  :)

Spec so far as i can remember is:-

J.E pistons,
Forged rods (make unknown),
ARP studs and bolts throughout,
HKS Cams 264's,
HKS timing belt,
HKS pulleys,
HKS twin plate clutch,
HKS lightweight flywheel,
HKS induction kit,
HKS super dragger exhaust,
HKS SSQV dump valve,
Blitz KKK turbo,
Blitz external wastegate with atmosphric screamer pipe,
Blitz De-cat,
Blitz 850cc injectors,
Saard fuel pump,
Greedy oil catch tank,
Greedy profec boost controller (broken!!),
Apexi power fc ecu with commander,
Fensport Lightened pulleys,
Fensport Aircon removal kit,
TRD coilovers,
Ultralight wheels,
Forge front mount intercooler,
Custom pipe work for clocked KKK turbo from DataJon,
Aquamist water injection,
Alpine Stereo with mp3/ipod,
Sony 8 inch sub,
Sony 6x9s,
Infinity components front,
Clifford alarm with anti-hijack and intellistart,
Body kit but don't know what type/make!

think that is all but i've probably forgotten something!!
Also done a 12.7 1/4 mile @108mph before FMIC, pulleys, cams and aquamist,
power was 345.1BHP @1.1bar but with a missfire that turned out to be a blocked injector
only ever run it at 1.3bar but been told it should cope with 1.5 easy once its mapped right!!

Welcome mate, lovely looking car, white my second favourite  colour  ;)

I think the St202 throttle cable fits the faff and its a lot shorter.

Hi mate WTTC  :)

A 202 throttle cable is much shorter, I have one fitted to mine, it needs the adjuster slackened off as far as it'll go and the grommet where it joins the onto the pedal needs a slight skim to give a bit free play at the throttle body  :)

WTTC Sean. Do you do much milage in that? Just wondering... as your tyres look as if they have :)

Thanks and i'll be getting the 202 cable this weekend and fitting it asap  ;D

Jeff yeah this is a daily run around, although the front wheels are standard and just on for the MOT  ;) its also seen the drag strip a few times too!!
Front tires are pretty goosed and shortly to be sorted, anyone tried these new toyos out?? i'm on T1r at the moment and they are fine but they have brought out a new one and I might try them

i'm thinking of changing to them as well as my sainz used T1r's and i had no problems with them, the new faff when i got it came with Ventus ffs, so they'll be coming off asap
