Title: Tis Snowing...
Post by: madgaz on March 22, 2008, 06:22:08 am: ...quite heavilty to be honest. Been the idiot that I was up at 5.45 to clear the bloody wifes car and lock the free wheel hubs on LOL.
It's nearly 2 inch thick here but we live in an exposed area which gets battered by the wind.
Still looks cool though 8)

I posted about snow at around 7.30. I had been up as in my love (read: stupidity) I had dragged myself out of bed at 5.30 to clear the wifes car and lock the free wheel hubs on so she had an easy (er) drive to work.
At that time in the morning it was GREAT. However...come 10 o'clock ALL the roads were clear and the paths/gardens were going the same way >:(

However...Sunday morning arrived and the snow was EVEN DEEPER 8) 8) 8) and then that was all but gone by 10 o'bloody clock >:( >:( >:(

Why does it bother? Why give us snow and then take it back before we have had chance to watch people struggling? Why not just give us a day when only the 4 wheel drive motors can come out and play? Why not give us snow drifts and sledging hills at least for one bloody day like we used to get when ' I was a LAD' :'( :'( :'(
