The reason we do not insure in Northern Ireland is that none of our insurers do (Sky are a broker).  The reason the insurance companies do not insure in Northern ireland is that is is such an unknown, it is hard to know which areas are high risk and which are low risk.

It is frustrating as there is a huge market for us in Northern Ireland as you guys love your Jap cars... I have family in Portrush and Bangor and I see so many nicely modified cars when I'm out on visits.

If you PM me I can give you the details of two companies who do insure out there and are usually competitive.

thanks, pm the companies to me to see if i am already getting quotes from them, and why doesn't someone sit down and do the homework about here and find out the high/low risk areas, if there is that big a market here its worth the hassle
