Title: Wotsits
Post by: ChrisW on February 24, 2008, 02:21:30 am
Here's one to get the grey matter working:

Can anyone remember the advert for wotsits, several years ago, that showed an animated sort of mine with the wagon going through all the tunnels on rails  and stuff with a cracking soundtrack?
It's sort of bouncing round in my head but not quite clear enough to allow me to sleep, lol

Cheers from the amnesiac

No not that one, sadly, nor the one with all the welsh miners. I thought I'd found on the 'tube but it's been removed for copyright reasons :'(

Lol, one 'drunken' evening, Cee and I managed to spend a bit of time on youtube and turned this up:

The music Jezza is talking over is from the original Wotsits advert ;)

Anyway put a title/artist to it?

Cheers

Theres that number you can ring that identifies tracks over the phone, costs a bit (2.50 IIRC) though. Cant find it in google though, sorry.

Using my ultrasonic hearing aid and powers of deduction, plus years of experience as a Doctor(of unknown credibility), I think that sounds like the Cure ? ???

I know what you mean about Cure, JD etc, was a big fan back in the day, lol. It's like Just like Heaven meets Love will tear us Apart without the keyboards. Still looking and listening.

HAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have an answer, it was originally written by New Order, called Age of Consent and was then remixed by A.N. Other. Here's the original:
