2008 has come in with a bang.
Tomorrow I bury my favourite Uncle, dreaded cancer.
Been in and out of hospital since I smashed my Trooper just before Christmas, told this morning that I have 'moderate regurgitation of the mitral valve' and I may need open heart surgery.
Had two jobs that didn't pay at the tail end of last year resulting in debts of €110,000 which is putting strain on my marraige and my blood pressure is through the roof.
But the worst part, the very worst part, the bit that really boils my pee................... There are no decent reputible mechanics/garages within 100 miles of my house that I can rely on to do proper, good work on my 165.
Thanks for letting me blow off steam. Now I don't feel so much like hurting someone. ;)

I know!!! You'd think someone would be willing to work on a 20 year old toyota.

i'm not sure why this years got off to such a bad start..
My uncle past away 3 weeks ago - waiting for the post-mortom at the moment.. makes it hard as he was who i was named after and he was my godfather - life kicks hard sometimes eh?
I can sympathise with you chap ... keep your chin up eh?

I must admit the proposed 'fresh' start to 2008 doesn't seem to have happened for a lot of people. we have had 15 lost staff days this month so far.
still, heart surgery is another league.
What does your motor need? you should try to get your car over here for a long weekend and i'm sure we have the knowhow to sort it between us

jeez man didn't know life was so tough with you at the minute...... keep the head up and i'll call up sure some evening over the next couple of weekends to see how ya are

Keep yer head up Bazza.
We're always here if you need to vent off.
I hope things start to look up for you in the near future.
