Title: The Beer,Lager alcohol thread
Post by: The Doctor on December 07, 2007, 06:57:37 pm
The Mrs is complaining I drink too much, which can`t be true.Anyway in attempt to make me feel better I thought I would ask how much everybody else is drinking ?

I work 4 days on,4 days off.I only have a 1 pint of beer in the evening on a work day,but have a few more on my days off. When I say a few I mean 4 pints an evening for 4 nights and up to 8 if something special is going on like football :-[
The 8 pints is only for the one evening and is rare :-[Tell me I`m doing fine ?

thats sounds ok to me  ;D

i'm pretty bad for it though myself...the mrs went away not so long ago and  i managed to consume 32 440ml cans of stella between friday and monday  :o

this week (from monday) i've drunk 2 pints in the pub, 8 cans of peterman artois and 6 660ml bottles stella/peroni. and today i've had 2 pints and about to start a bottle of red wine (freebie from work). really need to cut down quite badly  :D

i think your not drinking enough my good man  ;D

Now let me have a sideways word in here as a vertical one would not fit!
You cannot talk about drinking without an expert in the field having a crack  SO I would like to establish wheathr you have a problem or not (if I can hit th right keys)
!) do you drink at home?
2) do you drink at home alone
3)do you only drink in the 'pub'
4) do you like to be alone in the pub
5) do you drink in the pub and become the 'master of ceremonies'
6) does the pub staff actually say hello and mean it?
Get back to me and I will give you my analysis of your drinking  (problem?)
got to go for a pint now????

!) do you drink at home? - Yes
2) do you drink at home alone - Yes
3)do you only drink in the 'pub' - When I'm sober enough to drive there
4) do you like to be alone in the pub - Depends if anybody else is in
5) do you drink in the pub and become the 'master of ceremonies' - What?
6) does the pub staff actually say hello and mean it? - They say "Sure you should be having another?", What do they mean?

My wife say I have a drinking problem, the only problem I have with drink is theres never enough in the house. Bottles of whiskey disapear in one sitting, I dont pore myself a glass, I sit down with the bottle. I have to stop myself everynight and the only way i can do this is to tell myself there will be none left for tomorrow if I drink it all to night.

Only joking, I never drink, I'm T-Total, like Jeff :D

heh heh heh, I just woke up and read this! I was so pished last night I can't remember getting home. Brown Ale and Stella...dangerous mix. Just rang my mate to see what happened and he can't remember either. He says he just woke up and there are towels all around him, a bucket and the rug is rolled up in the corner...not good!

think I am going to throw up....
