Title: I'm a hero..

 Managed to get a pat on the back from british rail for dragging a 7.5 tonn lorry fully loaded with scaffolding off a level crossing.. with the peugeot 307 hdi.!
burn the clutch out and 99% sure i've buggered the fly wheel too.. cracked/scrapped the rear bumper and probably buggered the rear springs and shocks.. 10 mins later a train came.! nobody called the police or british rail...till after the recovery. I got a call from the police next day and had to go make a statement about the whole affair.. was told to put a claim in for the car..which now the insurance company are declaring a write off.. The driver of the lorry who was polish and coundn't speak a word of english apprantly fell asleep behind the wheel.. he had no tax/mot/insurance.. the n/s/f tyre was bald.. showing it braid. Thats my good deed for the next 20 years.!!! probably gonna cost me shed loads of cash replacing the car.. with it being the wifes...lol

:D awwwrrr bless ya that one will get through the pearly gates for sure. 

Iv got an old pug thats gonna need a good home loads of paperwork and until recently a daily runner.  I brought it Rog's nefew whos done nothing with it and iv told him if he doesn't shift it in a week ill take it back and sell it myself.

you know where i am if your interested is an old style one though but would get your Mrs  about.

im sure they will sort you out for the car its just a case of how long it will take them to do so.

that is indeed a good deed though, shame it was for a polish f*cktard though
all we get round here is polish people with no insurance causing accidents

cheers guys.. scrapped the pug.. got a 54 plate golf now. 8)
