Well...I bought a 205 on Saturday. I went up to Wolverhampton on the train and came back in a faff. Here is my unwashed 49,000 mile £3850 205...thanks to all who gave advice on my last thread about picking a 205 ;D

The pld and the new ;D

The bodykit is pretty bashed, but £300 and a few weeks will see it professionally sorted. On the test drive a rattling noise became apparent...IMO just a loose heat shield/bolt etc, but it allowed me to haggle an extra £150 off the asking price ;)

Nice!! (but lose the aerials!!)
-
Don't worry, they will be gone asap. I will let a friend of mine remove them, he is a professional car valeter and is more likely to remove them (probably been stuck on the car since new) without pulling paint off.
-
very nice good luck with it..... you done well getting it at that price
-
Looks like a pretty tidy example and at a good price too.
Shame about the body kit damage but as you said...a few weeks and a few quid and all will be sorted hopefully 8)

lovely looking four there :)
gimme a shout if you ever sell the wheels ;)
-
Looks a good buy to me at that price ;)
-
thanks fellas...I am pleased that i took the risk of going to wolves based on a few pictures and a crap description on Pistonheads :)
dave1221 - i will be losing the alloys; I do like them but want some bigger rims. I will emulate the black with a blue lip though whatever I buy as it IMO suits the car well. I'll put the details up on here when they are for sale ;D
Also going to lose the tv aerials lol, the radio (only picks up radio 2 and virgin), the 4" tv screen and remote control(motors work etc but no picture)and the cd multichanger (works but struggles to read cd's too frequently for me).

Very nice Rhino. Now you've got everything: the best GT4 and the original GT4!
