Just a quick warning to all those with Sky Insurance......they are fully paid up members on the OC and I have caught them a few times in the modified section etc, no doubt snooping around, i dont know if they have made it here yet, but it cant be a good thing...just be carefull what you put in your posts if you are with them.

Why isnt it a good thing? Surely all your mods are registered like mine are?
-
Agreed value is now very limited also, Sky are about the only company keeping this on, tho it has gone up to about £75 still value for money imo.
Cheers
-
yeah everyone should have all mods declared but..... thats alittle fly insurance companies scurrying websites to void policies
-
Warwick Davis also do agreed value and very reasonably with ALL mods declared :)

Not when they don't agree at your value! >:(
I was 5.5k last year, asked for £6k this year in an attempt to cover some of the mods I have added, and they will only give 5k, currently in a bit of a battle with them to try and get it up to what I paid my £75 for, have sent them 30+ examples of fours for sale in similar condition for 6k+.
Not on imo, 6k is by no means a silly amount, good examples of faffs still go for 5.5-6k, and I know other people who have them agreed at up to 7k!

im with sky, ive declared all my mods, doubled my insurance like. but they said they swap everything like for like if anything ever happened

I recently didnt renew my sky policy because of non-related reasons but I was rather *BLEEP*ed off that they accepted my £50 last year for agreed value with all mods but wouldnt go over 2500, despite it being somewhat modified, had an entire underside stripdown and rebuild, replaced virtually everything that could need replacing including the interior. In the end it wasnt a bad price on the policy but that erked me a bit.
