Haha, how did you manage to get a picture of him without his hat on?

ChrisW at JAE: So *BLEEP*ed he criticised Russ Swift on his parking!  ;D
12.808 1/4 mile on stock internals, turbo and ecu.

Now gone to the dark side!

This picture was taken around 10.30am on Saturday. Minutes after 2 nice young gentlemen coaxed him out of bed by banging on his tent and shouting loudly.
Chris woke up saying
'Oh sh*t...show and shine'
What we didn't realise was that show and shine actually meant
'Quick, pour me another home brew' ;D ;D ;D

Chris: Why Aye Man
Translation: Yes Gareth it was very good to see you and the missus.
Glad you could make it down for the day

Gaz: Canny man like ya knaa
Translation: Yes it was a good day sir. Good to see a good turn out and many many fours all in one place 8)

Chris: Hoy Ya Hamma Awa Hya
Translation: I'm p**sed as a fart ;D

The last one simply means 'could you pass the hammer please'.

the weekend was more of a drinking session than a car show....brilliant ;D.

Pleased it went well. maybe.. one day...:)

Japanese men on visit to tyneside ship yard hear the phrase 'Hoy Ya Hamma Awa Hya' (meaning of course Please pass the impliment for knocking nails in) or chuck the hammer over here for southern fairies.
Japanese man say 'velly nice you teach your workforce Japanese language'

apparently the literal translation is '*BLEEP* *BLEEP* *BLEEP*e *BLEEP*'
Previously a UK WRC ST205 & a CS (UK !*%)
Now.... a 1970 Triumph 13/60 convertible, a Hyindai Amica and a Honda CR-Z Hybrid :)

Ok, just to clarify a few points:

It was 9.37 am when I was awoken, show and shine was my first thought, tho no-one chose to enter cos of the inclement weather.

Insanity had me on speakerphone on the evening, so I had to listen to all those *BLEEP*heads while I was sheltering in the Hondatech marquee. I was hoping to lay my hands on a hammer to smash my phone and avoid any further assault on the geordie dialect.

The gap Russ Swift initially attempted would have fitted a bus in(any video of that one?), 3pm on saturday so sober enough to judge ;)
The gap was suitably reduced and both Claire Williams and myself approved of his final attempt ;D ;D

Cheers
