Battery Choice
« on: May 16, 2011, 11:06:33 am »
Good Morning,

Looks like it's new battery time. Does anyone recommend a good one? I'm not wanting to spend silly money.

I can get a 'Solite' 18kg effort for £60 delivered. Cold Cranking Amps: 550 ; Capacity: 70 Ah ; 4yr warranty... seems pretty good buzz for yer buck.

Think I paid £40 at my local motor factos for a Bosch silver doobrywhatsit one. IT's currently running my diesel but will go back soon.

I might try Partco etc. locally to see. I want one that can cope with the drain from the alarm system for more than a week.
