or if you were feeling adventurous then maybe 3s-gtze? why opt for either tubby or 'charger when you could use both!

Because the plumbing would be immense and the gains IMHO aren't worth it.

Not sure the gains from a SC are worth it either, having spent time looking into it a lot. I'd be really interested to see how it drives, im sure it would be a drivers car rather than a drag/dyno car for sure.

Seriously considering it at the moment. Although the full kit is circa £11,000. And as the supercharger displaces 2.9litres of air per revolution, I think a fully built 2.2 would be best, which then begs the question, even though the kit is marketed specifically for the 3sgte, would a higher compression ratio be best? Current trials on a 2.0 have resulted in just shy of 500lbs of torque so what then would a 2.2 be like?
On top of which the restoration has cost a wee fortune and its not painted yet, although it is close another two weeks of work should leave it painted but minus a front bumper.

Decisions decisions.

I am looking at it like this, 165 plus restoration plus engine build plus the bits'n'pieces needed to support 450/500ft lb is going to work out at near £20,000, which is damn near to what my dream car costs. So do I bog all the money into the 165 or say f*&k it and bog all my money into an Integrale?

Like I said, decisions decisions.
