A lot of the people use Facebook and communicate on that. There are , however others that don't and I am one of them.

So there are still people on here!
I check in from time to time, but admittedly it's been a long time.
I also binned Facebook a couple of years back, as I found it quite intrusive and irritating.
How are you all doing? Fours still going?
I'm prepping mine for some Hillclimb/Sprint action next year. Nothing major, as I want to remain in the roadgoing class.
Currently driving it daily as the Golf has a couple of issues.
Hope you're all doing well,
Dave.

Drove mine last weekend down to Leicester and forgot how nice it was and the other half said it is even more comfy than the company car, even with the exhaust, she can still nod off.
-
:) mine get a run out once a week. Once I get my first pension at the end of the month, I'll get some petrol in them and have a blast :)
-

Mine are good, cheers Martyn. little oil leak on CS and faff getting a bit rattly at the corners :)
Flat batteries are the main problem! Don't get out enough.
Whats these 20-25 pound little boosters like? look like a mobile phone!!!
Anyone know ( either of you ... ha ha harr :)

Hi Jeff,
I've got a CTEK trickle charger, and the battery has lasted ages. Considering the car only does 2500 miles a year tops, that's pretty good to me.
My issue just now is the brakes on the Faff. They just don't feel that strong, and a bit spongy. It's had new calipers and a bleed, but I'm thinking the master cylinder or servo now. I will try another bleed (including the cylinder as per the workshop guide) and see if that does it. If not, things are going to get complicated.
Bye for now,
Dave.

Cheers Dave. whichever one I put in my garage I stick my trickle charger on too but it's the one I leave out that sometimes struggles! I got to get the jump leads on it and jiggle the other one up to it..... such a faff :)
Looking for a portable booster for a reasonable price.
this is the hot post then !!!
-
Longer jump leads lol failing that, keep a spare battery on trickle charge with a trolly
