Looking for some strut top mounts, preferably less than the £120ish each that toyota/TCB want. Fensport have them for 75 each but no stock for 2 months.
Does anyone sell alternatives?
Even my local one-stop-has-all auto parts place cant' get hold of anything. Looks like we're going to really start struggling to keep these cars on the road at this rate.

Although I'm not endorsing them as such, my experience with them wasn't awesome, but it was mostly a google checkout issue.

Hmm they don't seem to respond to emails. I'm wondering about going for a full coilover kit instead lol. More expensive but my shocks and springs are well over a decade old!

Anyone seen the BR Racing coilover kits? They seem to have good reviews from some of the other more expensive performance car groups (unlike some of the similar cheaper coilover kits)

a mate of mine has them on his subaru n keeps tellin me to get them, nice bit o kit, fennies have them for a decent price compaired to 4 konis n springs to suit. ill be having a set ;)

I think the BC racing ST185 coilover kit is good value for money. I drove Brendan's Carlos Sainz a couple of years back and they were pleasantly compliant for road use.
Makes sense to me to do the whole lot. Rather than invest £120 in top mounts, then inserts then bump stops then springs etc
Tim @ TBdevelopments will price match any other dealer, plus you can order camber rear adjustable top mounts and custom spring ratings to suit use.

Only just seen this, I've had the Bc coilovers now for about 2 years can't fault them and probably even better for
a 185 as no welding the strut on there softest setting they are to harsh on the road nice ride

Ive fitted a lot of these BC set ups now and can confirm they are excellent value for money

The only issues I had with them are relatively minor considering the cost (fitted now):
1) During shipping the brake hose support bracket on one got bent, looks like the stock packaging is a bit lacking considering the masses involved but it's an easy tweak and 3 of them were fine.
2) On both the fronts the bracket is too close to the inner wing/chassis rail and requires bending and modification to itself and the ABS cable support bracket to work through the whole steering rotation, first fitment took the paint off my inner wing as I was clumsy and tired while fitting them and didn't think to check carefully first - idiot.
3) The holes for the brake hose may well work with the OEM hose support points (more than likely from what I remember of them) but they don't work with Goodrich braided replacements (just a wee bit too tight) - I think I'm going to have to get a the Dremel in there which is a great shame to damage the corrosion protection.
They look like really nice solid items and they otherwise fitted up perfectly, I'm very pleased so far (not taken the car out for a spin yet). Glad I got them as I found one of my front shocks was leaking a bit so would have been a fail shortly.
