Title: White Faff in Hull
Post by: martyn_pryor on June 18, 2015, 09:40:18 pm
Seen a white 205 in Morrisons in Hull on the Saturday, opposite bank on the Sunday, and on my way home on Thursday (Probably would not recognise me as I was in the works car).  I know the guy had a good look on the Sunday as I pulled out of Laburnum Drive going towards Southcotes lane.

I'm fine Jeff. Got the car booked in for the clutch to be replaced (read upgraded) ;). The old one is now slipping. How are you keeping fella ? Are your cars ok?

That is an expensive job mate. Mine are 'surviving' CS has an oil leak at rear of engine which needs investigation and the shocks/8s etc are coming to the end of their life on the faff :(

I was surprised when the total inc clutch and bits came to £550, as I was expecting it to be about a grand. I wonder if the cs needs a new sump gasket. I admit, I don't envy you with the fig 8's on the faff. All we can do is keep plodding on though.

Good price that.
The oil drips onto drive shaft and splatters everywhere! Also onto exhaust so I'm not getting it too hot just in case!!
One day I'll get round to sorting it :)
Keep enjoying mate. We need to do some recruiting on here!!!
